Extended Furlough - Further Guidance Published

The HMRC Guidance for the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme was released yesterday evening.  There are a number of deadlines in the Guidance to be immediately aware of:

Claims from 1 November 2020 must be submitted by 11.59pm 14 calendar days after the month you’re claiming for. If this time falls on the weekend then claims should be submitted on the next working day.
 

Claim for furlough days in Claim must be submitted byNovember 202014 December 2020December 202014 January 2021January 202115 February 2021February 202115 March 2021March 202114 April 2021

The other date to highlight is that employers who want to furlough employees with effect from 1 November 2020, must have entered into a furlough agreement on or before 13 November.
