Time limits for ET Claims increased

From today, the time limit for bringing most employment tribunal claims increases from three months to six months. The change applies where the date of the event giving rise to the complaint falls on or after 1 October 2026. For dismissal claims, this will generally be the effective date of termination. For other claims, it will usually be the date of the act or omission complained of, or, where there is a series of similar acts or omissions, the date of the last act or omission in the series.
